On arrival in South Africa, you will be welcomed and picked up by our Kubwa Five Safaris guide who will be holding an A4 paper with your name printed on it at O.R Tambo International Airport and driven to your hotel in Johannesburg.

South Africa's largest city, Johannesburg owes its existence to the discovery of the world's largest gold seams below its soil in the 1880s. It's a vibrant modern city whose sprawling suburbs support what is reputedly the world's largest artificial forest, as well as several massive shopping malls and a cosmopolitan selection of restaurants and other amenities.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Hazyview via the Panorama Route.

We stop at Hazyview, a small subtropical town whose name alludes to the shimmering heat haze that sometimes envelops it in midsummer. Although it is a well-equipped town situated in an agricultural region that specializes in bananas and macadamia nuts, Hazyview's main touristic claim to fame is as a stop on the Panorama Route and gateway to the southern sector of the Kruger National Park.

The Panorama Route in Mpumalanga is one of South Africa’s most scenic drives, featuring dramatic landscapes along the Drakensberg Escarpment. Highlights include Blyde River Canyon, God's Window, and Bourke’s Luck Potholes, offering breathtaking views, waterfalls, and lush forests.

After breakfast, you will be driven to the airport for your scheduled flight to Kruger National Park.

Get ready for a thrilling safari in the world-famous Kruger National Park, a vast sanctuary where 150 different mammal species roam freely across an area two-thirds the size of Belgium. Kruger offers exceptional wildlife viewing, thanks to the presence of substantial populations of safari favorites such as lion, leopard, cheetah, African wild dog, elephant, black rhino, white rhino, giraffe, zebra, buffalo and wildebeest. But it also offers the opportunity to focus on less glamorous creatures, from graceful antelopes and boisterous baboons to colorful lizards and an astonishing 500-plus bird species.

You will have an evening game drive. 

Going on an evening game drive is one of the highlights of any safari. This is when temperatures cool, the light becomes softer and the wildlife begins to get active. Not only will you be out when the light is best for taking photos, but it's also one of the best times of day for seeing the animals.

A full-day game drive in Kruger National Park offers an immersive safari experience through one of Africa’s largest and most diverse wildlife reserves.

After breakfast, you will take your scheduled flight to Cape Town.

On arrival, you will be driven to the Table Mountain for a hike and have a city tour as well.

Summit the legendary Table Mountain ( weather permitting) then wind your way past the scenic and upmarket suburbs of Camps Bay and Clifton en-route to the central business district. Sense the depth of history as you drive past Parliament Buildings, City Hall, the Slave Lodge and the Castle of Good Hope, originally built as a maritime replenishment station and now the oldest surviving colonial building in South Africa!

Passing Charly's Bakery, home of Charly's Cake Angels, we hear of the brief history of District Six en-route to a visit at the Company Gardens. Learn more about the history of the Bo-Kaap and its people as we move up the cobblestoned hills to the Malay Quarter, and marvel at the ice-cream colours of the quaint Bo-Kaap homes.
