On arrival in Ethiopia in the morning hours, you will be welcomed and picked by our Kubwa Five Safaris guide who will be holding an A4 paper with your name printed on it at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport and be transferred to your hotel to check in and have lunch.

After lunch, you will go for an afternoon city tour of Addis Ababa that will cover the following; visiting Haile Selassie’s former palace which is the now home of the Ethnological museum.

Exhibits here represent the best of the arts and crafts of the country and give an in-depth insight into the various peoples of Ethiopia.

You will also visit the National Museum, known to be the best museum in Africa, where cultural and archaeological relics and
hominid displayed.

Drive to Mountain Entoto for panoramic view of the city.

At the end of the day you will see the Mercato, eastern Africa’s largest market.

After an early morning breakfast, you will be transferred to Addis Ababa Bole International Airport for your scheduled flight to Bahir Dar.

On arrival, meet our Kubwa Five Safaris guide at Bahir Dar Dejazmach Belay Zeleke Airport and be transferred to the city center. As much is a dry season, we may not have a big water fall at the Blue Nile falls, hence doing the other tour.

Bahir Dar is an attractive port city with a memorable location where the Blue Nile exits Lake Tana to begin its journey to the Mediterranean. As the springboard for day trips to the spectacular Blue Nile Falls and boat excursions onto the lake, Bahir Dar is one of northern Ethiopia’s undisputed travel highlights.

An extended boat trip on the waters of Lake Tana allows us to explore some of its most remote monasteries. Best known is Ura Kidane Mihret, on the Zege Peninsula, but we also visit Tana Chirkos, with its mysterious trio of Judaic sacrificial pillars; Daga
Istafanos, whose crypt holds the mummies of five 13thto 17th-century Ethiopian emperors; and beautifully painted Narga Selassie.

You will also visit the local market in Bahir Dar, which is worth visiting.

After breakfast, you will be driven to Gondar. The day will be spent touring the fascinating sights for which Gondar is famous; Gondor castle compound, Bath of King Fasil, Trinity cathedral for the mural
paintings.

We think Gondar thoroughly deserves its nickname ‘The Camelot of Africa’. This historic city was the imperial capital of Ethiopia from the 17th to 19th centuries, and it is studded with impressive buildings dating to this era.

Most striking is the magnificent three-story castle built in the 1630s by Gondar's founder Emperor Fasil. Protected as a Unesco World Heritage Site, these historic castles and churches are interweaved with timeworn buildings from the Italian occupation (1936–40) and some of Ethiopia's most enjoyable live music venues.

After having breakfast, drive to Simien Mountains National Park where you will have an excursion tour.

Excursion to this fascinating and awe-inspiring wilderness which consists of hundreds of canyons and gorges, with mountain peaks that soar to more than 4000 meters.

Whether you explore it on foot, by car, or using a combination of the two, you’ll be blown away by the magnificent scenery of Simien Mountains National Park.

Rising to 4,550m in the highlands north of Gondar, this is the fifth-highest mountain range in Africa, and it supports one of the world’s largest remaining tracts of Afroalpine moorland.

For wildlife lovers, a highlight is the opportunity to hang out with golden-maned gelada monkeys, which live in troops of several hundred individuals. Other wildlife includes the Walia ibex and Ethiopian wolf, along with cliff-dwelling birds of prey such as lammergeier and augur buzzard.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Gondar Airport for your flight to Lalibela.

On arrival, you will be welcomed by our Kubwa Five Safaris guide who will transfer you to Lalibela which is in the Ethiopian Christian tradition called ‘the New Jerusalem,’ situated on a high plateau (2630 m) surrounded by rugged mountains, which is in the Ethiopian Christian tradition.

Breathtaking, inspirational, awesome… these are adjectives our guests regularly use to describe their experience at the rock-hewn churches of Lalibela. A Unesco World Heritage Site, this subterranean complex comprises 13 churches and chapels that were hand carved into the rocks below Lalibela back in the 12th
century.

The excavations were directed by King Lalibela, a saintly figure whose vision was to create a ‘New Jerusalem’ in the mountains of northern Ethiopia.

Lalibela's rock-hewn churches have remained an active Christian shrine ever since, and they still attract hundreds of white-robed Ethiopian Orthodox villagers to early morning mass on a daily basis.

After breakfast, you will take a flight to Axum and on arrival, you will check in at your hotel.

You will visit the Church of Our Lady Mary of Zion, an Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church in Ethiopia. It is claimed to contain the Ark of the Covenant. It is located in the town of Axum, Tigray.

Continuously inhabited for something like 3,000 years, Axum is arguably the most historic city anywhere in sub-Saharan Africa. Legendary figures associated with Axum include the Queen of Sheba; her son Emperor Menelik I; and his distant successor Ezana, who founded the Ethiopian Orthodox Church here some 1,700 years ago.

All over Axum, you’ll see towering carved-stone slab fields, mysterious palaces, historic churches and other reminders of the city’s past glories.

We're excited to take you on a city tour of Axum, the oldest and holiest city in Ethiopia. Highlights we look forward to showing you include the world's tallest engraved obelisk (comparable to a 10-story building at 23m high); the Church of Maryam Tsion (4th-century birthplace of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church); and a 3,000-year-old stone swimming pool once bathed in by the Queen of Sheba.

After breakfast, drive to Arbaminch.

You will have a lunch stop at welita Sodo Hotel; on this drive, you will make photo stops for villages, local market, and the beautiful scenery.

After lunch, you will proceed to Arbaminch and continue to Dorze village to admire the 12mts height Tukul house and traditional cloth making culture.

What a view! Set below the lofty Amaro Mountains, Arba Minch is an attractively leafy town that offers a grandstand view over Nechisar National Park and its most prominent landmarks.

In the foreground, you'll see an evergreen fig forest fed by the bubbling springs alluded to in the name Arba Minch (Amharic for ‘Forty Springs’).

Behind this stand the expansive Rift Valley lakes of Chamo and Abaya, as well as the narrow ‘Bridge of God’ that divides them, and the distant Nech Sar ('White Grass') Plains. It's a wonderful introduction to Ethiopia's deep south.

After breakfast, drive to Omorate to visit the Dasenech people who are living on the banks of river Omo, where they cross the river using a tree trunk to go to the west coast where the majority of the tribe lives. You will have lunch at your lodge.

After lunch, you will attend the Turmi Monday market and late afternoon explore villages of the Hammer around Turmi. And after, head back to you lodge to relax.

After breakfast, you will be driven to karo villages. The Karo wear an elaborate hairstyle sculpted in Chignon of dried mud adorned with Ostrich feathers. They always carry a wooden pillow to protect their hairstyle when they sleep.

In the afternoon, you will have lunch and then be driven to Jinka.
On the way, visit Dimeka village and keyafer benna tribes.

Meals and overnight at Eco Omo Lodge/ Orit Hotel/ Jinka Resort.

After breakfast, you will be driven to Mursi village. The Mursi people are known for the lip Plates.

Later, return to Jinka for lunch and then visit the museum of Omo people and house of the Ari people Jinka is a relatively comfortable base for exploring this fascinating but remote region, this green and leafy town is notable for its multicultural market (where
activity peaks on Tuesday and Saturday) and superb ethnographic museum.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Arba Minch Airport to catch your scheduled flight to Namibia.

On arrival in Namibia, you will be welcomed and picked up by our Kubwa Five Safaris English-speaking guide who will be holding an A4 paper with your name printed on it at Windhoek’s Hosea Kutako International Airport and be transferred to Okapuka Safari Lodge where you will check in and rest.

You will have an early morning breakfast and then head out for an early morning game drive.

After the game drive, your guide will transfer you to Walvis Bay for your half day activity.

Look out to the Atlantic from the port, go looking for flamingos close to town, and enjoy the sand dunes not far away when you come to relaxed Walvis Bay.

You will have a Swakopmund city tour. Admiring the architecture is easy in Swakopmund because there are beautiful colonial buildings everywhere, including fortress remains, half-timbered houses, and churches.

The sand dunes that surround the town are a reminder that the town has a fantastic location as well, which is why so many travelers come here for the adrenaline fueled activities on offer.

You will have Sandwich Harbour Tour and later visit Walvis Bay.

After a leisurely breakfast, embark on a boat cruise in Walvis Bay before departing for your accommodation in Sossusvlei.

Immerse yourself in the wonder that is Sossusvlei. There is no more beautiful sea of sand dunes anywhere in southern Africa. There are so many possible vantage points from which to enjoy the view: from high atop one of the dunes that line the valley, from the valley floor near sunrise or sunset, or where an orange dune towers above the iconic silhouette of a lone acacia.

Sossusvlei is where you will find the iconic red sand dunes of Namibia. The clear blue skies contrast with the giant red sand dunes to make this one of the natural wonders of Africa and a photographer's heaven.

We will head out deep into the dune fields. The Namib Sand Sea is the second UNESCO World Heritage Site for Namibia (2013). One of the coldest, driest, and most pristine areas on Earth, the Namib Desert is a world of vast spaces, endless horizons, and jagged mountain heights.

The best time for photography in the dunes is early morning when the rising sun still casts shadows that give depth and contrast to the dunes. As the sun rises overhead the colours of the dunes change from salmon pink to brick red and orange.

Sossusvlei is a striking white pan surrounded by ancient Camelthorn trees and the towering orange dunes of Namib. Dead Vlei offers excellent photographic opportunities.

This pan is completely surrounded by dunes, and the floor of the pan is dotted with stark, dead camelthorn trees. You will visit Sesriem Canyon, a 30-meter deep gauge incised into the desert floor by the Tsauchab River.

You may decide on an optional activity. Why not? For sunrise, a trip in a hot air balloon. You will float in the air while admiring one of the most beautiful landscapes in the world.

You will be served a glass of champagne and a full breakfast at the landing. This activity is not included in the price and will be charged at ZAR 11500 per person (which is equivalent to US $615 per person).

After that, you will travel back to your accommodation in Windhoek. Explore city center, followed by dinner.

After an early breakfast, you will be transferred to Murchison Falls National Park.

On your way to Murchison Falls National Park, you will branch off to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking; this activity is truly one of a kind in Uganda, the pearl of Africa.

After the rhino tracking, you will be driven to Murchison Falls National Park.

Your first tourist attraction in the park is the top of the falls, which are the most powerful waterfalls in the whole world . It is a breathtaking experience that brings you very close to these magnificent falls, where the Nile forces its way through a gorge in the rocks and tumbles 43m below flowing westwards into Lake Albert. The resulting mist from the turbulence often produces rainbows.

After seeing the top of the falls, if time allows, you will enjoy a hiking experience from the top to the bottom of the falls and thereafter en-route to your lodge, go for a short evening game drive.

Meals and overnight at Parkside Safari Lodge/ Leosim Hotel/ Wild Palace Safari Lodge.

After breakfast, you will set off very early in the morning for a morning game drive.

You will be able to see various animals like lions, leopards, giraffes, hippos, elephants among others.
Other activities in this game drive include bird watching and sightseeing across the open savannah, dotted woodland, and riverine vegetation along the Nile and Albert deltas.

After the morning game drive, you will go to the lodge to relax and have lunch.

After lunch, you will embark (between 2pm and 4pm) on a three-hour boat cruise on the Nile. This boat cruise offers an amazing view of the falls from the bottom. Hippos, crocodiles, antelopes, and aquatic birds can be seen along the shores of the river.

In the evening, you will head out for an evening game drive.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Kibale National park, driving Southwest through the Albertine Escarpment of the great Western Rift Valley. You will  have lunch on your way.

On arrival in Kibale National Park, you will be driven to Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a community walk and cultural interaction. It is a fascinating area, located in Magombe swamp.

This area is recognized for an extensive array of biodiversity among which are several primates species like the red colobus monkeys, baboons, black and white colobus monkeys, blue monkey grey cheeked, mangabey, vervet monkeys, red tailed monkeys and the L’Hoest monkeys. Additional mammals such as sitatungas, mongooses, bush pigs, otters plus bush bucks.

Meals and overnight at Chimpanzee Capital Safari Lodge/ Kibale Forest Camp (Non-self contained tents)/ Kibale Eco Home.

After breakfast, you will head out with your guide and a packed lunch to the park head offices for a briefing about the do’s and don’ts of chimpanzee trekking. The tracking will start early and takes about two to six hours, depending on the location of the chimps.

The opportunity to see chimpanzees in the wild is one of the most memorable of all safari activities. Getting close to these creatures that share so much of our DNA is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and the excitement of walking through the forest and knowing that they are close will stay with you forever.

After trekking, you will be transferred to Queen Elizabeth National Park. This is a huge park where wildlife and people coexist in harmony.

On arrival, you will go for a boat cruise on the Kazinga channel which connects Lake Edward and Lake George.

Some of the best wildlife viewings are done on a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, passing squacco herons, pied kingfishers, large numbers of buffalo and hippo, basking crocodiles and very many different bird species and large mammals. This is one of the most memorable experiences from the park. Over 300 hippos are found in the lake.

After the boat cruise, you will go for an evening game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park aiming to catch the lions hunting in the evening. Lions usually hunt when the temperatures are cooler.  We also expect to see the Uganda kob, elephants, buffalos, warthogs, leopards and waterbucks.

Meals and overnight at Songbird Safari Lodge/ Enshama Game Lodge & Campsite/ Engiri Game Lodge.

After an early morning breakfast, you will be transferred to Ishasha Sector for the tree-climbing lions on the Kasenyi Plains. Ishasha is located in the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth.

Have a game drive in Ishasha, famous for its tree climbing lions. The Ishasha Sector is notably recognized for its resident tree-climbing lions which are an exceptional attraction.

After the game drive in Ishasha it is time to move to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home of the famous mountain gorillas. You will have lunch en route.

On arrival, you will check in at your lodge, then later in the evening,  you will head out for a community walk where you will visit the Batwa.

This is an indigenous group of people that have lived in the forest for over 500,000 years. You will enjoy traditional dances and drama from them.

Meals and overnight at Ruhija Gorilla Friends Resort/ Gorilla Friends Resort Lodge/ Nshongi Camp.

After breakfast, you will head out with your guide and a packed lunch to the park head offices for a briefing about the do’s and don’ts of gorilla trekking.

Afterwards, you will head out for gorilla trekking through the misty rain forest. Trekking lasts two to six hours, depending on the location of the gentle giants. Make sure you carry enough water, sturdy shoes, non-flash cameras, and rain jackets.

Spending time in the presence of mountain gorillas is a real privilege, so we are sure you will enjoy trekking deep into the forest to find them. This is one of the most memorable experiences you can have while on safari.

At the end of this long and exciting adventure, you will be transferred to Lake Bunyonyi, which is a twisting water body, dotted with 29 islands of various shapes and sizes scattered across the water.

Upon arrival, you will go for optional activities payable at the lake such as canoeing, kayaking, ninja warrior challenge and Zip lining at 40 USD per activity.

Meals and overnight at Paradise Eco Hub/ Bunyonyi Overland Resort/ Crater Bay Cottages and Camp.

After your breakfast, you will be driven to the Airport.

You will have a stopover at the Equator for lunch in Masaka, see where this imaginary line divides our planet into two equal hemispheres. Lunch, snacks, souvenirs and photographs may be taken here.

You will then proceed to Entebbe International Airport for your scheduled flight to Kenya.

On arrival in Kenya, you will be welcomed and picked by our Kubwa Five Safaris guide who will be holding an A4 paper with your name printed on it at Jomo International Airport, and be transferred to your hotel in Nairobi.

You will check into your hotel, and rest.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Lake Nakuru National Park.

On arrival, you will check into your lodge, have lunch and later head out for an evening game drive. On your visit to Lake Nakuru National Park, you can expect some fantastic wildlife experiences.

Flamingos have returned to the lake in varying numbers. You might also see tree-climbing lions, endangered Rothschild's giraffes, and the park's thriving populations of both black and white rhinos.

And because the park is relatively compact, your chances of seeing these and other animals are excellent. The park's scenery, too, is a highlight, with the picturesque lake as a centerpiece. The acacia
woodlands are especially pretty, and the views of the lake are best from the Out of Africa Lookout (where some scenes from the 1985 film were shot).

Meals and overnight at Punda Milias Nakuru Camp/ Golden Palace Resort/ Sleepway Cottages, Nakuru.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Masai Mara National Reserve.

One of our favorite places to look for wildlife in Kenya is the Masai Mara National Reserve. That's because the wildlife here is incredible, with big cats (lions, leopards and cheetahs) and elephants among the highlights, not to mention black rhinos in the Mara Triangle.

There's a very good chance you'll also see giraffes, buffaloes, wildebeests, zebras, hippos, hyenas, and, of course, impalas. And bring your binoculars, because more than 500 species of birds have been recorded in the reserve. It's a place of beautiful savannah
landscapes as well, with lots of acacia trees.

On arrival, you will visit the local Maasai village for a Maasai cultural tour. Learn about the Maasai community and interact with the local Maasai people.

An overnight stay at the Maasai village can be organized upon request.

You will have an evening game drive afterwards.

Going on an evening game drive is one of the highlights of any safari. This is when temperatures cool, the light becomes softer and the wildlife begins to get active. Not only will you be out when the light is best for taking photos, but it's also one of the best times of day for seeing the animals.

After breakfast, in case you would like to go for a balloon safari, you can have it in the morning before heading out for a full day game drive with packed lunches in search of the park's well-known predators and their opponents, like zebras, wildebeests, giraffes,

Optional Activity at a Fee: A balloon safari at USD 485 per person can be organized early in the in the morning on this day, then proceed with the normal program.

It is in the Masai Mara National Reserve that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture.

Welcome to the Serengeti's most popular wildlife area. It's here in the heart of the park, in the Serengeti, that you find the densest concentrations of wildlife.

Big cats and elephants are frequently seen in this area, and this section of the park is rich in acacia trees and big Serengeti horizons.

After breakfast, you will have a full day in Serengeti National Park. Our guides will choose the best spotting locations for that time of year.

We can spend time at the Hippo pool watching these majestic animals laze about in the cool water happily living alongside the crocodiles, watch a big pride of lions, and many more.

Optional activity: A balloon safari at USD 600 per person can be organized early in the morning on this day, then proceed with the normal program.

Serengeti National Park Tanzania’s oldest national park, renowned for the part it plays in the annual Great Migration, when an estimated three million antelope – mostly wildebeest – migrate to Kenya’s Masai Mara National Reserve.

This epic, seasonal journey is a deeply moving experience and a wonderful photographic subject. Here visitors to the park can roam its sprawling plains on exhilarating game drives or hop into a hot-air balloon ride for an once-in-a-lifetime wilderness adventure.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Ngorongoro Crater where you will have an evening game drive on arrival.

You never forget the first time you see Ngorongoro Crater from above. It is the most densely crowded game areas in the world.
Looking out from the rim of this extraordinary volcanic crater is like gazing down upon a lost world of wildlife and astonishing beauty.

The drive down into the crater will be just as special, taking you down onto the crater floor where nature rules and no human being may pass the night.

You'll spend the best part of a day exploring this remarkable place, seeing its lions, hyenas, black rhinos, elephants, flamingos and so much more. And when it comes time to leave, you'll keep looking back over your shoulder trying to hold these experiences in your
memory.

After having a delightful breakfast, you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your scheduled flight back home.
